Commercial + ME/IR

The Modular CPL/IR/MEP program is designed to equip licensed pilots with the skills and qualifications required to operate as Pilot-in-Command of Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) aircraft in commercial operations under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). This comprehensive program prepares pilots for the demands of professional aviation with a strong focus on safety, precision, and operational proficiency.

Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a valid ICAO PPL(A)
  • Possess a Night Rating
  • Have completed EASA CPL(A) or ATPL(A) theory
  • Accumulate at least 150 hours of flight time, including:
  • 70 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on airplanes
  • 50 hours as PIC cross-country, including one cross-country flight of at least 540 km (300 NM) with full-stop landings at two aerodromes different from the aerodrome of departure
topics covered
The CPL/IR/MEP course covers a comprehensive range of topics to prepare pilots for commercial operations and multi-engine proficiency under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). Subjects include advanced flight planning, navigation, and meteorology, with a strong emphasis on operating multi-engine aircraft. Additional focus areas include aircraft systems, operational procedures, human performance, and the use of advanced avionics for safe and efficient flight. The course also develops critical skills in instrument approaches, cross-country navigation, and emergency handling, ensuring pilots are well-equipped for the demands of professional aviation.
