Instrument Rating SE

The Instrument Rating (IR) modular flying training course is designed to train pilots to the level of proficiency required to operate single-engine aeroplanes under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC). This course enhances your flying skills by focusing on advanced navigation techniques, instrument flying procedures, and the ability to control the aircraft solely by reference to instruments. Obtaining an IR allows you to fly safely in a wider range of weather conditions and significantly expands your piloting capabilities.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Have foundational knowledge of math and physics
  • Pass a basic math and physics entry exam
  • Hold an EASA Class 2 Medical Certificate
  • Possess an EASA PPL(A) with Night Rating
